I built Launch the Damn Thing® because I got tired of spending a decade building someone else's dream business—and taking business advice that assumed I wanted a corporate career when I really just wanted to be myself and love what I do. Turns out, being fully yourself IS a business strategy, and a pretty effective one, too.
My 14 years in graphic and print design gave me an obsessive eye for detail, but print taught me something web design fixed: when something's wrong in print, do-overs are expensive, stressful, and occasionally mortifying. (Forgotten punctuation could mean reprinting 20,000 aprons for the White House Easter Egg Hunt. Ask me how I know. 😬) With web, you go in, fix it, re-save. No big deal! That kind of flexibility (plus the ability to evolve your design as your business grows) is why web design quickly became my favorite design medium.
If you need a WordPress person, I'm genuinely not your girl. But if you're on Squarespace or just want better systems and someone who won't bury you in tech talk, we'll get along just fine.
I'm not polished. But I promise you'll have fun; my clients and students say so, and I'm inclined to believe them! 😂
