When the built-in webcam isn’t cutting it & ya know it’s time for something better quality, but you’re not convinced ya need (want) to spend much money on a webcam when your built-in camera technically still works? 😂
The C920x was my first external HD webcam because it’s commonly listed as a cheap/affordable option for beginners or people that just need something a little better than their crappy laptop webcam.
In 1080p HD quality, everything will look better than it did before with your 720p webcam and it still works seamlessly in all the places you were using the built-in webcam (Zoom, Facebook, YouTube, etc).
This is NOT a 4K video-quality webcam! For that, ya need to spend a bit more –or use Apple’s Continuity Camera feature with your iPhone (free & already installed on your Mac) or Reincubate Camo with your iPhone/Android!
Paranoid about professional peepers? This cheap addition to my Logitech C920x webcam just clips onto the face of the camera, with a lid that lifts up & out of the way when you want to use the camera & closes when ya don’t. Privacy? ✅ Check.
