Best built-in webcam privacy cover*
My sisters & I have all used post-it notes or other light stickers to cover our built-in webcams when we weren’t using them because we’re all in the online business world one way or another.
So imagine my surprise when I stumbled onto this little gem that is STILL a sticker, but it has a sliding door to open or close the camera lens on any of my devices!
Finally! A more attractive & sturdy/efficient way to cover my ass. 😂 Cheap too! These won’t set ya back and you can buy them in packs of 2*, etc for however many devices you want to cover.
For my 2021 MacBook Pro with the “notch” at the top, it fits just fine, but covers up the green “on” light. The slider has to slide right to open/left to close in order to work, otherwise, it covers the light sensor (to the left of the camera lens) and your webcam will think you’re in the dark.
It’s VERY small, like, pinky fingernail small, but it works GREAT!
