Seriously sturdy, this thing holds my 16” MacBook Pro’s webcam up near eye level no problem & I don’t worry that it’ll fall down while it’s on the stand.
It does get a little bouncy/wiggly if ya type while it’s on the stand, but nothing I can’t handle for quick uses & I don’t worry it’ll fall or break the stand. I do prefer to use my full wireless keyboard instead when my laptop is on the stand, but not a must.
