Calculate Service Package Rates

Basic Service Price Calculator

or

Split It Your Way

These four have to add up to exactly 100%. The defaults are set to a standard split, so you only need to change them if you want to assign different percentages.

NOTE: If you don’t like the numbers you got in your result, enter some new ones & try again! Don’t worry, it doesn’t save or tell me what’s been entered so this is all for fun!

How this basic calculator works:

  • Pick a dollar amount for your hourly rate + expected time worked

    • doubling that result can help save for paying yourself, taxes, expenses & profit

  • Or pick a project rate you want to charge

    • see how that rate would break into different chunks

  • Spit it up into buckets:

    • divide that rate by the following (for Profit First buckets):

      • 0.5 = 50% of the package fee for your paychecks

      • 0.25 = 25% of the package fee for Taxes

      • 0.2 = 20% for the package fee for Expenses

      • 0.05 = 5% for the package fee for Profit

  • Change any of the percentages if you want to, but make sure all 4 percentages still total 100%

  • Copy your results to your clipboard & paste somewhere to ‘save’ your results

This calculator does NOT save your history as you use it.
